Did you know that marine experts have learned that octopus have six arms and two legs, and like the starfish, an octopus can regrow a lost arm or leg? This octopus has three partial limbs when my neighbor speared it for his familyʻs lunch. Octopus are considered a delicacy here in Hawaii and is probably the most common ingredient for poke, the popular Hawaiian chopped-seafood salad.
Printed in the direct method of gyotaku onto mulberry paper using a non-toxic soy ink. It is PH neutral (acid free). The paper measures 24 inches x 11 inches and has a soft deckle edge. Signed in pencil in the lower right corner. It will arrive with a certificate of authenticity.
