Description
He`e or tako, can be found in reefs to around 50 feet deep. In Hawaii, tako are considered a delicacy and often eaten as poke. Octopuses are invertebrates, which mean that they are boneless. All their vital organs are located in their head, including their three hearts. They can change their color and texture of the skin to blend with environment and become invisible. Octopuses live short lives. Male octopus will die a few months after mating. Females will stop eating and die shortly after her eggs hatch.
