Description
A favorite food fish in Hawaii, Opakapaka or Pink Snapper, grow larger in the Hawaiian islands than anywhere else in the South Pacific. Caught year-round in the islands, there is a peak during the winter season. Opakapaka has a firm texture and delicate flavor and can be cooked in a variety of ways.
Printed in the direct method of gyotaku onto washi paper using a non-toxic soy ink. It is PH neutral (acid free). The paper measures 18 inches x 11 inches and has a soft deckle edge. Titled “Opakapaka (Pristipomoides filamentosus) in the lower left corner and signed in pencil and stamped with my red chop in the lower right corner. It will arrive with a certificate of authenticity.
