Description
Octocorals are closely related to coral. They are most prolific in areas of high water flow where they capture zooplankton with stinging cells.
This is an original gyotaku, printed in the direct method (Chokusetsu-ho) onto washi paper using an archival soy ink in shades of taupe and black.
The edges of the paper are deckled, and can be framed either behind a mat or “floated” above a backing to show off the paper’s deckled edge. The paper measures 14 inches x 18 inches.
Signed in pencil and stamped with my red seal in the lower right corner. It will be accompanied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
